Last week the winners of The British Fashion Council and Elle Magazine’s Talent Launch Pad were announced. The winners are, Clemency London, David Longshaw, Eudon Choi, Holly Fulton, Irmin and Jordan and Yunus and Eliza. The aim of the initiative is to support designers in developing their business long term by helping them to secure an appropriate retail presence.
Amongst the panel of judges, which comprised of various leading figures from the fashion press, retail and design sectors, was our very own creative director of Hervia, Oscar Pinto. As part of Hervia’s ongoing support for rising creative talent, Hervia Bazaar will stock Eudon Choi and Holly Fulton for at least two seasons from Spring Summer 2011.
Oscar says he is excited to be supporting Choi and Fulton, adding, “I think Holly and Eudon’s collections will sit well amongst our existing brands at Hervia Bazaar.”
He also emphasised the Importance of supporting British talent, saying, “The majority of designers we stock are British-trained including Antonio Berardi, John Galliano, House of Holland, Hussein Chalayan, Todd Lynn and Hannah Martin and we have always realised the importance in supporting talent who have trained at British fashion colleges.”
