Since graduating in 2003 from St Martins in London, Gareth Pugh has gone on to great things, receiving global recognition for his outlandish clubwear and his novel approach to redefining modern luxury.
The radical geometries of Gareth Pugh's monochromatic designs are like armory for futuristic night fighters. His designs are inspired by shape, proportion and process. Although associated to the Rick Owens group and quite macabre, Gareth emanates more of a sense of adventure and the essence of British fashion.
In his Spring/Summer 2013 Collection Gareth Pugh displays the impeccable simplicity of his lines, with layers of fabrics creating silhouettes that show how he has been influenced by the medieval ages, and has yet kept hold of the edge and futuristic vision Gareth Pugh has become known for.
