American designer Rick Owens' is renowned for his solid use of black and industrial shapes. His Spring/Summer 2012 'DRKSHDW' diffusion collection takes Rick Owens' signature cuts, shapes and finishes and reproduces them in a number of more accessible and everyday materials. His continual use of gothic aesthetics are mixed with complex structure, a minimalist palette of colour, dramatic structures and provocative silhouettes, just showcased in a slightly different way.
