These Sterling Silver sequins were made in France in the 1930s and were intended as ornaments for fine textiles. Each was hand-punched out of thin silver-colored sheet metal and polished to a brilliant reflective shine, which has faded to a dull patina over the past century. Now attached to sterling silver studs these make perfect earrings. Each pair is unique and comes backed on a vintage cigarette cards from the 1920's - 50's that feature movie stars of the time.
