Adidas' Y-3 Sport collection is creating a new era of sportswear: according to Yohji Yamamoto, he designs the collection with the intention of  being "bold", re-defining the sector in a new chapter with his "15 year history" with Adidas. With the artistic vision of Yohji Yamamoto and the sportswear innovation in cutting edge fabrics and technologies of Adidas, Y-3 Sport pushes the possibilities of fashionable active wear. Now in it's second collection, with the first receiving many plaudits,  the collection comprises of three distinct categories – approach, ultralight and base layer – each one is carefully developed with a unique function as its focus. Y-3 Sport utilizes techniques like bonded construction to reduce seams, BOOST technology, and laser cut ventilation ensuring the collection offers unparalleled functionality and fashionability. This season, the popular the Approach shoe, for example, has been re-engineered in Adidas' top secret lab, being enhanced with a BOOST sole and reflective Primeknit technology, offering superior comfort and performance in a high-top construction. Finally, key base layers, including a Merino wool T-shirt and fine-knit top for women, have been introduced, ushering in a new era of lifestyle-infused sportswear.
