A new look from Y-3 for Spring

14 Dec 2017

A new look from Y-3 for Spring: Since Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto joined forces with Adidas in 2003 to form Y-3, the collaboration has gone from strength to strength and continues to push boundaries with each collection. In this new Spring/Summer 2018 collection, Y-3 has stayed true to its roots by reflecting the message of 'Uniform of the Streets' and its sporting heritage, but at the same time also echoing the designer's futuristic vision for fashion and culture. The collection features the classic black and white colour palette we'd expect from Yohji Yamamoto. In addition to that, Yohji has also added bold colours like red and blue to add a bit of flavour to the new sporty themed collection. The new SS18 range features everything from bold logo shirts, bright coloured hoodies, sweatpants and street caps. Alongside three new sneaker silhouettes; SuperknotBashyo and Suberou. Embodying a fusion of sports and fashion, all three sneakers are part of the continuing evolution of previous best selling sneakers such as the Qasa and Superstars.
