A New Take On Cortez by Comme des Garçons

Japanese label Comme des Garçons and Nike are teaming up again for a new experimental women's footwear collaboration following the highly popular Air Mowabb release.

This instalment, first seen at the Comme des Garçons main line FW18 show earlier this year, sees the iconic Nike Cortez silhouette receive a monochromatic punk-inspired makeover. Leather uppers with contrast branding sit on top of super chunky soles which feature black and white lines and checkerboard patterns which ooze 80s punk aesthetic; a movement Rei Kawakubo is known for revisiting and exploring.
