adidas Originals and Wales Bonner Reunite for FW21

adidas Originals and Wales Bonner return once again to present their latest collaborative offering, forming a key part of the designer’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection, entitled “Black Sunlight”, which draws inspiration from a world of Caribbean Thought and Black British intellectualism.

The previous two collections saw Wales Bonner explore the aesthetics and style of the 70s. For Fall/Winter 2021 the designer turns her attention to the diasporic radical thinkers of the 80s. Reimagining a series of iconic adidas pieces including T-shirts, track pants, a tracksuit, an anorak, and a sunhat. Each piece features logo prints and crocheted details that have become a calling card of the Wales Bonner house.
