Junya Watanabe MAN's Spring/Summer 2023 collection offers a unique combination of pop culture references and elevated wardrobe staples, resulting in statement pieces that are wearable and stylish.

During Paris Fashion Week, Junya Watanabe MAN unveiled a Spring/Summer 2023 collection that blends pop culture influences. The show opened with a model wearing a Honda logo cap, a fitted nylon blazer with a print of Roy Lichtenstein's "The Girl With Hair Ribbon," and drop-crotch jeans with Keith Haring logo patches and embroidery.

The collection continues with similar styles that fuse Watanabe's meticulous tailoring with references to old and new cultural icons. The clothing features logos from Netflix, Coca-Cola, and Honda, as well as works from Basquiat and Andy Warhol. The pieces themselves, including tracksuits, blouson jackets, mohair cardigans, anorak jackets, patchwork denim, ankle-cut pants, and flannels, are elevated staples that can be easily worn as statement pieces.

The accessories include logo-heavy caps, a gloss-orange tote, and an understated eye-branded crossbody bag. Collaborative New Balance Nobium sandals in black and RC30 sneakers inspired by the retro NB 320 silhouette round out the collection.
