KTZ London Fashion Week Report

10 Jan 2017

Marching to a gritty looped metal instrumental, the KTZ army stormed through catwalk with woosh of dark futurism. For AW17, KTZ experimented with dystopian military inspired outfits with a sportswear edge.  Oversized Alpha bomber jackets, knitted camouflage jumpers and lace up capes provided the seamless blend between the two sources of inspiration.  After experimenting with lace up detailing for AW16 the brand went all lace up everything as virtually every outfit contained the detail, if anything they are at least consistent. As you know, any good soldiers uniform has badges, and lots of them - many piece were stitched with branded patches and heavy metal inspired patches. KTZ themselves are Britain's own wonderfully gothic, heavy metal brand of fashion whose shows never bore nor disappoint. In typical KTZ style, the palette was monochromatic with flashes of Olive green and Winter grey. The collection was one of KTZ's most wearable to date - we are literally counting down the days to get our hands on that patch bomber jacket.
