Moncler + Rick Owens Collection

We have seen numerous collaborations throughout the year, and now two of the fashion industry's biggest names, Moncler and Rick Owens have joined forces.

Iconic American designer Rick Owens, known for his gothic aesthetic and avant-garde collections has worked with his wife, muse, and business partner, Michèle Lamy, on a collection bringing together his unique and instantly recognisable style with that of Italian outerwear brand Moncler.

This collab initially came about after Rick Owens decided he wanted to work with Moncler on a collection referencing his own story and the early days of his career. Owens left his home in Los Angeles 18 years ago for Europe and has rarely been back, but he returned to the West Coast with Moncler on a custom tour bus, taking in LA, artist Michael Heizer's ranch in Nevada, Las Vegas, and Area 51.

Some of Owens' most iconic pieces have been reimagined, featuring real down padding and a collaborative black-and-white Moncler logo. Top picks from the collection include the metallic Cyclopic Down Coat, the Angle Down Bomber Jacket, the Tonopah Funnel Collar Down Jacket, a Cashmere Draped Front Jumper and Down-Filled Shorts.
