New to Hervia: OAMC
Making its runway debut at Paris Fashion Week in 2013, OAMC quickly gained critical acclaim due to its authentic connections to contemporary culture, attracting over 130 stockists including Barneys New York, Selfridges and I.T. Hong Kong.
Founders Arnaud Faeh and Luke Meier, both began their careers at some of streetwear's biggest names, Faeh at Carhartt WIP and Meier at Supreme. Here they gained an authentic understanding of the intricacies of streetwear fashion and noticed a demand for more luxury streetwear that would eventually influence the overall aesthetic of OAMC.
OAMC set out to merge classical tailoring with an authentic urban touch for a distinctly unique aesthetic. Their designs try to find a harmonious balance between modern aesthetics and contemporary culture while also respecting the past. Every garment produced by OAMC is offered in limited quantities, with the majority of the materials, trims and other components are specifically developed and produced for OAMC.
The latest FW19 collection is made up of beautifully textured knitwear with vibrant intarsia designs. Luxurious oversized t-shirts and hoodies emblazoned with soft silk foulard patches as well as a range of elegant shirts.
