Undercover's FW19 Collection 'The Droogs & Suspirium'
Inspired by Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange and Luca Guadagnino’s Suspiria, Jun Takahashi pays homage to his cinematic love in the latest Undercover FW19 collection.
The collection was debuted in a grand theatre space during Paris Fashion Week. Masked models walked the catwalks and Malcolm McDowell's sinister face took centre stage as it was printed across an array of garments including jackets, sweatshirts and tote bags. Takahashi first watched A Clockwork Orange when he was in high school, he said "It was really shocking. The story of violence, sex, the youth, really everything together — I was inspired."
Undercover also showed off its exciting collaboration the Valentino. Science fiction was the inspiration for the collection, with playful graphics of UFO's juxtaposed against images of Edgar Alen Poe all printed on muted tones.
