Patagonian born Marcelo Burlon is a cultural wanderer, jack of many trades and all-around mover ‘n shaker. From styling to photography and film-maker, from DJ to art direction, Burlon aims to master them all. Burlons artistic visionary placed in the fashion capital of Milan gave way to his latest venture; a line of tees under the name County of Milan, which he uses as a launch pad to print his own unique symbology. Using black and white t-shirts as a blank canvas and the help of graphic designer Giorgio Di Salvo, Burlon mixes Patagonian traditional symbols with rave culture to create his unique t-shirt designs. Esoteric symbols, Argentinean birds feathers and coiling snake silhouettes combine with kaleidoscopic quality resulting in bold, colourful and visually arresting designs aiming to blur the lines between what is real and what is not. The AW13 collection is the second offering from Burlons County of Milan venture. Burlon invites you to use your imagination, to wonder, and to fill in the creative gaps.
