Award-winning London based designer Tomasz Donocik was born in Poland and raised in Austria. After graduating from the Royal College of Art, he cut his design teeth working for rock chic jeweller Stephen Webster.
Tomasz Donocik’s body of work boldly reinterprets modernity through subverting motifs of classicism and masculinity. Tomasz Donocik inspirations bring together literature, architecture and surrealism to redefine jewellery for the contemporary accessories wearer.
With the skill of an artisan, and unrestricted by the constraints of traditional jewellery design, Tomasz Donocik's work aims to challenge preconceptions of self-adornment. Through the sensitive fusion of materials his bold, masculine and often androgynous designs inject the discipline with new meaning and form.
Hilary Alexander of The Telegraph writes that Tomasz Donocik “…is determined to spearhead a new way for men to wear jewellery.” Tomasz Donocik has been credited with several notable awards including ‘Jewellery Designer of the Year' (Goldsmiths 2006); ‘New Designer of the Year’ (Collections 2009) and multiple Gold and Silver awards for ‘Craftsmanship and Design’.
A regular fixture in the fashion press, in 2010 British and Italian Vogue hailed Tomasz Donocik as a rising star in the Jewellery Industry and won the 'Jewellery Designer of the Year Award' 2011.
